We went to this amazing place called 6 BALLYGUNGE PLACE in Indiranagar, Bangalore.

Amazing Bengali food… specially mishti doi :)))))))))))

    I was very impressed with this restaurant when it opened in Kolkata. However, I avoid it like the plague now. Reason? The whole place constantly smells of fish, which puts me off big time. I am no vegan, though! Enjoy it while it lasts!

    I have never tasted authentic bengali food in a restaurant. However I have had it at my friend’s place. What I find very interesting is how they eat each dish separately, not together so that they can savour each. Course by course. They are real connoisseurs of food, the bengalis!
    You’ve got some credits and changed your theme I see. Congratulations. :) It looks good.

    Did you try out the Gup-Shup above Ballygunge? It is a nice tea/snack joint and an ideal place for evening chitchat…much better than the overcrowded CCDs and Baristas….you wouldnt find anything similar in Bangalore….I didnt at least…

    @rambodoc: This time we were seated at gup-shup (snack counter) on the top of the restaurant, maybe thats why i wasnt bothered by the smell of the fish. That can be mood killer m sure!!
