Mr. Subir Mehra, Head of Commercial Banking, HSBC India, visited Great Lakes on 4th Dec’2006. A student of Uncle Bala once (Yap! He is a graduate from Kellogg Graduate School of Business)… He was just a reflection of him – highly successful, yet duly humble… reflecting the very premise on which Great Lakes is built – GLOBAL MINDSET, INDIAN ROOTS!
He enthralled the audience with his talk on “Careers in Banking”. He took us through the various career options like Treasury, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance etc. and was very happy with the kind of interaction he had with Great Lakers.
A small step… but a Giant Leap!!

His talk was neither a PPT nor a GL. I enjoyed listening every bit of it.
So you are getting big shots these days at glakes and pretty much enjoying those eh? good. Listening to those is highly entertaining and totally opposed to what I did in previous post.
and not to mention, highly inspiring also. See this is what happens when you center yourself too much around you and although negative but you still make a point to mention the point you pointed out.
