Hogenakkal is a very beautiful place around 130 kms from Bangalore.
Its a good one day trip and takes about 3-4 hours if you plan to hire a cab. You can leave Bangalore around Noon. By the time you reach, it wont be too hot and the weather would be quite pleasant.
