This weekend involved mom teaching me how to make my all time favorite. So, this is my first try π
Ingredients:
Wheat flour: as per requirement
Curd: Approx one spoon
Methi: 250 gms
Turmeric powder: 2-3 teaspoon
Oil: 3-4 teaspoon
Green Chillies: 3-4
Garlic: 4-5
Method:
Modifying it after Sandeep pointed out the mistake. π Grind Chillies and Garlic together. Add allΒ the ingredients along with chilli-garlic pasteΒ to wheat. Make a fine dough with water. Make flat rotis of the dough and heat it on a pan, adding little bit of oil. And you are done! π
Simple, isnt it? π
Oho shaadi ki taiyari ho rahi hai… π π
I never liked meethi parathas!! Whenever I used to go to my best frnd’s home, her mom used to give me these to eat and I just hated the taste. So after 1-2 times I used to take just one and give it to any cow outside. π
Umm and Yumm
i love them,
methi is otherwise very healthy too.
After eating a friend’s methi parathas, I’ve been thinking of trying to make some for some time now.. bookmarking your recipe π They look fabulous!
wow, these looks delicious! i would try the recipe, thanks!
Wow !! They look delicious .. I hope u had fun eating those ..
Don’t you have to chop garlic (has to be cloves, not whole), green chillies, and methi before you add them to dough with curd for mixing? π
God save Noobie π π
@ Nova

Thanks for sharing the recipe π
Cool! Training shuru eh… π
A couple of quick questions: Do you wash methi before use? If yes, how much water do you leave in there? Do you let it try for a bit before adding to the dough or no? (I’ve seen the water part do weird things to the dough) Thanks.
I meant “…do you let it *dry for a bit…”
this is a gujju recipe no?
soo alluring π
BTW, the About and GuestBook links don’t seem to work π¦

@Kanan: Hehehe na re… no training and all π I used kasturi methi of everest, But you can also use normal methi. And yes you wash it before use. The amount of water left does not really matter coz you use some water to make the dough as well.
